Diets Don't Work in the Long Run...

I would submit to you that a better question isn't whether diets and high-intensity exercise work, but rather whether that particular model is the simplest, most efficient and enjoyable way for you to start, build and maintain your health and fitness?

One Program, One Trainer

I offer one Health Program that includes everything I've learned over the last twenty-two years about how to eat instead of focusing on what to eat; I've left nothing out. I've had over 14 mentors since 2001, and achieved multiple training certifications, including becoming a StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor, a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher, NASM-PT, and attended an additional 320 hours of Yoga Therapy Training.

I've also spent hours in Bible study, completely reading through the entire King James Version Bible over three times. I am a long-time student of Shepherd's Chapel and was lucky enough to attend Passover Services with Pastor Arnold Murray before he passed away.

Most nights back then, when I was trying to figure out how to lose the extra weight, I would drown my anxiety and worry with beer, wine and food. Waking up in the middle of the night because of the sugar crash, and with a lump of guilt in my gut was the worst part, not to mention the occasional headache or hangover.

I did things that most people with normal appetites would never fathom. I would eat my dinner (including 2 helpings of everything) and when the night rolled around, I'd grab the potato chips and dip and eat nearly a whole bag, washing it down with a few glasses of wine or beer.

Even in high school, I'd eat dinner at my house and then go to my cousin's house and eat another dinner.

When I was on a diet, I followed exactly what I was supposed to do, and I've retuned to share with you that YES diets can work! But at what cost?

I've maintained my weight for 23 years without dieting.

I’ve spent the last thirteen years teaching hundreds of clients how to improve their life with “Goldielocks” fitness through old school training techniques like kettlebell, body weight exercises and yoga.

Remember Goldilocks? She was the little girl in the Three Little Bears story, and she tried two other options before she found one that was “just right.”

What that means for you is that together we can find a program that is exactly right for you; not too difficult and not too easy, but exactly what you need at exactly the right time.

I don’t believe that fitness should be something that has to be endured but should actually improve and elevate your life!

If you haven’t found the peace of mind that comes from taking care of your body with the right blend of exercise, you just haven’t found the right exercise for you – yet.

The “just right” exercise program means that you’ll look better, you’ll feel better and your confidence will skyrocket.
